Achimwene left us on that fateful Sunday night. We are still struggling to get to grips with the reality, and though the minutes have turned to hours, the hours to days and the days into weeks now, the pain and shock are still undiminished.

Our brother Patrick was a one of a kind, a soul we were blessed to have in our family. He never held a grudge; you could disagree but he wouldn't quarrel with you; growing up, always there for us younger ones; and above all, always wearing his cheeky smile.

He is terribly missed as a son, a brother, an uncle, a husband... He was a lot of things to a lot of people, so at this time, we wanted to share our good memories, the happy times we had, and to celebrate his life as we knew him, and also invite friends, family, and all who knew him to feel free to celebrate his life with us.

Atipa, you left too soon, way before your time. We miss you, and we miss the smile. We still wake up everyday and wonder kuti kodi bwanji achimwene a ku Kanjedza ati zii.

Till we meet again, Rest In Peace

2 years ago, we said our last goodbyes, and you went on your last journey. the memories are still fresh, questions still there, why it had to be that way.

We thank God for the years we were on the journey together, and know we shall see you you again at the end of our own journey.

we miss you, Rest in Peace

Sometimes life cannot be understood. it takes away those we love most in ways where no one can explain convincingly. This is agreat but painful example. Dear Pat, u were loved by most. Ur departure was VERY painful. Rest in Eternal peace until we meet again in the Lord's House. AMEN

When Am Gone (By Mary Alice Ramish)

Release me, let me go.
I have so many things to seee and do.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.

I gave you my love and you can only guess,
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
But now it's tim i traveled on alone.

So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It;s only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away, for life goes on,
So, if you need me, call and i will come.
Though you can't see or touch me, i'll be near,
and if you listern with your heart,
you;ll hear all my love around you soft and clear.

And then, when you must come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and say, 'WELCOME HOME"
